System 10 residential doors are extremely energy efficient. They are proven to help keep the warmth inside your home whilst keeping the cold out and any heat loss to a minimum - all this will help reduce your heating costs significantly. The cost saving made from reduced fuel bills outweigh the investment cost over the life expectancy of the window.
All System 10 doors supplied1 by us have a minimum U Value of 1.66W/m².k and are available in white, Cherrywood, Rosewood and Anthracite Grey.
Our handles and hinges are suited with our System 10 casement windows and our range of Bowater and Solidor composite doors, and to add to the high specification all our doors come with the Winkhaus Thunderbolt™ door lock as standard.

Now the Technical bit
System 10 is a 3 chamber, category A profile, this means that the external walls of the profile are between 2.8mm - 3mm (in this case 3mm), compared to category B which is 2.5mm - 2.8mm and category C which is 2.2mm - 2.5mm and is extruded by the Veka UK Group in Burnley. The 3mm thick external walls makes the framework more sturdy than its category B and C counterparts. All our frames are reinforced with galvanised steel in accordance to the Veka technical manual.
For our door hinges we use the Mila Evolution Door Hinge. This door hinge offers maximum adjustment combined with security and aesthetics, and most importantly it suites with our standard range of window and door furniture.
For our locking system we use the Winkhaus Thunderbolt combined with the Brisant Ultion cylinder. This tried and tested multipoint lock has been cleverly designed to offer maximum security as well as extra tolerance against the door 'dropping' meaning your new door will work smoother for longer, while the Brisant Ultion cylinder brings 3 star Diamond grade security to your door coupled with a £1000 anti snap guarantee.
Our range of handles are supplied by Mila Hardware in Daventry, in particular we use the ProLinea and ProStyle range of handles as these suite with the hardware used on our range of PVCu and Composite doors. Designed by Mila’s in-house product design team and precision manufactured from a high performance zinc alloy the handles offer optimum comfort and minimal resistance when used.
