Energy Efficient Windows

Choosing the best energy efficient windows can be a bit confusing, A Rated or B Rated, what difference will it make to your home?

To make things easier, from October 2010 the government introduced the Window Energy Rated (WER) Scheme. This system uses the well known trafic light system seen on white goods such as fridges and washing macheines.

The ratings range from A (the best) to G (the worst). Windows achieving a C rating or above demonstrate they have been designed, manufactured and tested to provide a good level of overall thermal efficiency. Here at Aztec, we only install windows that acheive a B rating or better.
