uPVC Door Designs

uPVC Engineered doorAs one of Coventry’s oldest and most respected window and door supplier, we strive to offer the most advanced range of designs and colours. Our newest range of engineered entrance doors brings new design features to uPVC doors in the form of timber look joints. This allows us to manufacture traditional looking doors with all the benefits of uPVC.

uPVC Front Doors

Our quality uPVC doors don’t just offer headline features. We manufacture our doors with the utmost care and attention to detail. A new uPVC door installed by us will add security, energy efficiency and style to your home. Our team of experienced fabricators and installers work together to make sure we maintain the highest possible standard during the production and installation of your new uPVC door.

And now the technical bit.

All glazed uPVC doors supplied by us have a minimum U Value of 1.4W/m².k and are available in a wide range of colours. We have specific colour ranges for the different profile systems and also offer an extended range of bespoke colour options.

Our door handles and hinges suite with the handles on our uPVC casement windows and Solidor composite doors, and to add to the high specification, all our doors come with the Winkhaus Thunderbolt™ multi-point door lock as a standard.

System 10 profile is a 3 chamber profile, while Rustique offers 5 chambers. All uPVC profiles are category ‘A’. Category ‘A’ profile requires the outer walls to be between 2.8 – 3mm thick. In our case, it’s 3mm. Compared to category ‘A’, category ‘B’ is 2.5mm – 2.8mm thick and category ‘C’ is 2.2mm – 2.5mm thick. Veka UK extrude the System 10 and Rustique profile brands here in Burnley, Lancashire. The 3mm thick external walls give the framework more rigidity than its category B and C counterparts. We reinforced all our door frames and sashes with galvanised steel in accordance with the Veka technical manual.

Hardware

For our door hinges, we use Mila’s 3D adjustable Evolution Door Hinge. Mila designed these hinges for Halo profile and the colours match our standard range of window and door furniture.
For our locking system, we combine the Winkhaus Thunderbolt multi-point lock with the Brisant Ultion WXM security cylinder. This high security multi-point lock offers maximum security and extra tolerance against the door ‘dropping’ meaning your new door will work smoother for longer, while the Brisant Ultion cylinder brings the highest grade of security, the Master locksmiths Diamond grade, to your door coupled with a £2000 anti snap guarantee.
Our handles are supplied by Mila Hardware in Daventry. In particular, we use the ProLinea and ProStyle range of handles. The ProLinea range used across our product range of uPVC windows and Composite doors. These handles offer optimum comfort and minimal resistance when used. As an added bonus, the chrome, gold and satin finishes are manufactured using stainless steel giving them additional protection from corrosion and wear.
